Beavermouth Rec Site is a popular place for locals with campsites along both Beavermouth Creek and Quesnel River, trails for ATV and hiking. A 30 minute hike up the creek will bring you to a great view of the waterfalls.
Directions Follow the Quesnel-Hydraulic Road south out of Quesnel, and the site will be just before the bridge over Beavermouth.
Due to road washouts, an alternative route is available. Turn onto French Road off of Highway 97 S. Follow French Road until it meets Quesnel-Hydraulic Road. Turn right onto Quesnel-Hydraulic Road and follow until you reach Beavermouth Rec Site just before the bridge over Beavermouth Creek. Vehicles such as pickup trucks and SUVs with more clearance are recommended.
