Erica, who studied computer programming in university became a Web designer somewhat by accident, somewhat by necessity. She needed a Website for a previous business but couldn’t find a platform that was user-friendly so she decided to develop her own. She realized that the program she developed was a marketable product and so her business was born. In addition to providing Web design and customized Website solutions Erica also provides database development and other software solutions plus help with MS Excel and MS Word.

Erica Lahoda summarizes her passions in two words: “technology and nature!” The quiet and beauty the north provides; the technology she develops and shares as a Web designer in her business Erica Lahoda Web Girl.
It’s not just computers and technology that Erica loves. She is a board gamer, bird watcher and animal lover in general. In fact, one of the things that she most loves about Quesnel is its open spaces and ruggedly beautiful natural surroundings. Being able to set flexible hours for herself in her business allows her to be able to garden and enjoy the backcountry around the Cariboo, as well as improve on her photography as a hobby.
